LIGHT SENSITIVE
what about the current current
makes a photographic image of
lightness the most tangible form
of life? when we walk our thousand
miles and turn round to start the
highway trek across chinese paper
lanterns fueled by kerosine
when there is light-off,
light-off! until the generator starts
humming light and leg across the earth.
but the others let light burn
their retinas with an image of,
"that one time i..." or "i wish i..."
i didn't, and i also wish, and i love
the upside-down image of me in your mind.
