cutting

I hate to cut you:
Because systemic politics and morals can be stripped from us when we travel, Wells seems to say that the heart, which will forever be inside us, is equally useful in judging: “even when mind and strength had gone, gratitude and a mutual tenderness still lived on in the heart of man” (76). Similarly, James’ hero ends with a painful appreciation of human connections, of “mutual tenderness”.

it's to sentimental for my conclusion

so much of western philosophy is founded on the fact that man is a social animal. i can't help but think that society needs us to be social because otherwise it would fail. so children take their bags to school and fill them up with boy and girl and honour your parents and puppy love. social social forever. everyone but the new kid.

i'd like to think the world is against me, but this summer in california i needed people. i created people.

baa baa black sheep have you any wool...
