mind-forg'd manacles

today during my lunch break i went to the stanford bookshop and lost myself in the dover thrift editions bin ($1 per book). i got (and now i am overloading myself with books):

the importance of being earnest - oscar wilde
poetics - aristotle
songs of innoncence & songs of experience - william blake (<3)
the raven & other favourite poems - edgar allan poe
also: postmodernism - a very short introduction.

i am happy. and i can finally understand postmodernism to the extent that i want to. also, prof. massimilla (whose class - british modernist fiction - i am taking next semester) sent us a preliminary reading list. aiee! this is why i am an english major, sir!
