SUCH AN AWESOME SET! All of them were amazing musicians having fun. They do this really cool thing where they record the show and then burn it onto disc for you to buy 30 mins or so after the show. I got one (eeek!) but it doesn't have track names (ahhh!) - my OCD is acting up.
I've decided that, in addition to a Columbia English/Creative Writing degree, I also want to do the following in the next 4 years:
- of course, write my novel(la)
- write my two-part film
- play the mandolin (which, by the way, isn't an 8-string ukelele as I thougt it was!)
- be in a band. sing + occasionally play the mandolin
- speak chinese (& maybe french)
- wbar
- intern at magazine (possibly Nylon)
I had more but I am soo tired. braindead.
I've gone and bet $5 on a blue mandolin on eBay. Forget that I don't own a credit card at the moment, I better as hell win.
