a sudden desire to go "home"

is it devilish to admit to the glee that rises within me when i see this on the hong kong observatory's website? also, if i was in hong kong i could film the opening scene to HARBOUR despite what people thought. rain machine?! we're in hong kong!

i miss the booming nights and deadstill mornings, shivering at the bus stop trying to keep our novels and spectacles out of the rain, dreaming i could walk on this water and such. new york rain does not, and cannot, compare to the booming ominous fast-moving clouds that dart across the sky and suddenly-

and this picture is my hong kong:

29.04.06

Love of two is one
Here but now they're gone
Came the last night of sadness
And it was clear she couldn't go on
Then the door was open and the wind appeared
The candles blew then disappeared
The curtains flew then he appeared, saying don't be afraid
Come on baby, and she had no fear
And she ran to him, then they started to fly
They looked backward and said goodbye, she had become like they are
She had taken his hand, she had become like they are
Come on baby, don't fear the reaper
