don't be afraid, you're already dead

akron/family's new album love is simple has  got me thinking about my old favourite quote, which embarrassingly comes from that annoying but catchy dragostea din tei (numa numa yay) song: accept happiness.

it's just so true to (i want to say my generation but i am going to say) me. and i guess the quote's been replaced by the more dimensional quote from jim jarmusch in down by law: it's a sad and beautiful world (which was a serendipitous mistake ... meta!).

i think essentially i can piece out my life philosophy from these sayings. and this is what i love to write about. great moments within the bigger picture, the little things that project onto the world.

it's the reason why i love antifolk and tweepop and folk.
and jarmusch and gondry.
and to some extent, miranda july.

and would-be camus if he wasn't so bent on being a hardlining ego-philosopher about it.

like a white cloud floating free
aimless i wonder

i fucking love akron/family too much for my own good.
