it's nice to have someone you're familiar with. see them again and 'so refreshing' :)

dinner USD5 - what did you have?
vegetarianism can be so unhealthy when not taken seriously enough.

how does one acquire public library card as student? discounts? how many books can you check out? librarian daughter asks.

one more thing - what's a movie that's light, funny, refreshing :), global but slightly hong kong/chinese/asian? nothing with too much of a heavy statement (whatever it may be - political, social, cultural, blah blah no

you're alone and family-less?
need a call from phil or me. call phil better - he more understanding and critical. or applicable.

hoi! yay?
yeah, i'm currently forcing myself into a non-junkfood vegetarian diet. on the plane i had so many doritos that when i arrived i ate fruits and yogurt, then brown rice and veggies for dinner. healthy me!

public library cards are free. i dunno about books and such here but in mountain view it's 10 books, 10 dvds, basically 10 of anything at anytime.

a movie that's light funny but asian? aiya. i'm not too much into asian cinema. if you get a chance to see wong kar wai's new film (my blueberry nights, ironically his only english language american based film) with norah jones, take it! i've heard it's so-so though.

but as far as refreshing films go, my favourites include buffalo '66, y tu mama tambien, napoleon dynamite, & breathless (the original by godard), and of course! that mutual appreciation film i was talking about - dunno if they're available in hk, though. did you ever finish waking life?

judging by my taste though, which has been meet with, "uh, i don't like shaky camera boring films." you may or may not enjoy them. i do!

i'm alone and family-less yes. it was so weird: i was sleeping, they called, then i slept again. so for a long time i felt like they were all around me. my room is bigger this year (ie emptier) so it gets lonely, but today i'm meeting up with a friend, and tomorrow, maybe shakib! i need to get into a sleeping rhythm though before i call you guys. i really need to talk to you two!

(ew. long comment.)
