Took The Midnight Train Going Anywhere

life is so much more interesting
when you're watching it pass you by.

my computer has had a nervous breakdown,
she is giving me the silent treatment.
we are family.

today i rustled through the blockbuster
wondrous thrift pile and got 6 dvds for nothing:
bubble, broken flowers, marie antoinette,
the squid and the whale, candy,
a guide to recognizing yout saints.

and i am yet to watch monster.

today i also organized my dvds according to studio and it turns out that i have a huge group of MGM dvds (5), and MGM is often in partnership with IFC films. and universal is in partnership with focus features. and i only have 1 sony entertainment dvd (run lola run) and i separated the truly indie from the indie with a major distributor. i think i am becoming pretentious. but at least i am conscious of that fact?

now mr computer has died on me and i don't
have myself a dvd player and my life is over.

i'm being dramatic.
like the piano part in "don't stop believing"
like that whole song.
love it.
