Pictures To Come

yesterday my dad took me to see fisherman's wharf but, i mean, if you've seen it once it's not worth it going back and spending $4 on a pretzel etc. but i love to watch the sea lions so we did that for a bit and walked down powell, saw riverdancing children, took the bus to haight, and spent a lot of money on music (read: my dad spent 4x the amount i spent. a new day had begun). we listened to bob marley's RASTAMAN VIBRATION on the way home and my dad reminisced about his hay-days (hey-days?) in ghana and senegal. was very much fun, discovered a lot of good reggae. loving it. i watched this is spinal tap: it was funny! i love mockumentaries and appreciated the adlibbing, still it wasn't break your hand fawning good.

today (sunday) we went hiking (16 fucking km, which is a marathon for me, the one hasn't worked out since ...). it was fun watching the ducks and swans and squirrels and such. it wasn't fun getting a headache afterwards.

friggin sun.

so i am still here in california - i miss fujiya & miyagi (not the biggest bummer), film, film discussion, gertrude stein, don quixote lit hum ... so sad. instead i get to argue with citibank over the phone and pine for the $50 hippie dress i wanted in h&m. i finished the modest mouse review.

man oh man i miss my new york nothing.
