i was watching it with intro to film-ness and you can just see how this film is a hybrid of 90s narrative-heavy, escapist realism (always a montage!) and more recent shock editing/visible camera movements, jump cuts etc.
i love this movie even though many elements annoy me (candy's character!). it makes me want to move to san francisco after college and live there for my first working years. hell yes. who's in?
i am off to new york and because i am crazy i've decided to attend the march on the pentagon without sleep. i hope i don't get arrested because my international-ness will not sit well with that.
