God I love TV shows when they're not on TV!
Such excellent time wasters. I could be reading about existentialism or actually finishing Crime & Punishment but screw that! Instead I'd rather watch The Real World: New York, SATC, and Coupling. Wonderful.
Screw turnoffyourtv.com, I think too much and my eyes are open to product placement.
Yea. So on Friday I rented first season of The Real World, which was ... entertainmnet. I really wanna watch the Philly season! Goddammit. It's so weird being stuck between first and second semester. There is nothing I HAVE to do so I do nothing. I knit and watch DVDs and eat. The good life for a while y'know, until you feel so heavy and dull. I might go buy my books.
I am so good with jet lag, man. So fucking good. I am so relieved to be back as well. Leaving is the hardest part, but once you step of that plane and see the OTHER life you're so used to (especially when the old life wasn't all that it was cracked up to be), you start to thank your lucky stars that you ended up where you did.
Now Natalia is thinking about college and stuff. It's so cute.
I can't stop feeling like I'm living the suburban lifestyle I'm running away from. Suburban desperation. Makes for a good story. But we are all here for the spectacle.
