Williamsburg Will Oldham Horror
I want to write. For a living. And it doesn't have to be a comfortable living. Just give me an apartment & money for food/bills & friends to complain with. That's all I ever wanted. And apparently, in this money-driven country, an ivy league education is pretty much a foot in the door for anything. so why am I worried? honestly, all I need to do is intern and write like a bitch. all i need to do.
I've been watching all the burg episodes. So good! Although even the stereotypes are stereotyped (by that I mean that the stereotyped hipsters are the stereotyped hipsters we always hear about). And the music is very very typical indie: the "five brooklyn guys with style and tight pants and beautifully dishevelled hair pick up instruments and look good whilst they play" indie. I swear, so far only Spinto Band can really pull off the dancing. The Spinto Band and Adam Green. And Jack Lewis (because just doesn't really dance & that's what I love about him, y'know, besides the anti-folk).
I really want a WBAR show! That and something to shock me.
I got my video camera out.
