writer's block is a bitch and can make you feel intensely worthless. jasmine shisha is l'awesome. so is downtown nyc. and indian food. and smoke rings. and subway performers. and john jay. and my bed at night.
still no credit card. albert maysles on tues. birthday so soon. age of aquarius. must be awake in 5 hours. must clean hovel-room. must watch almost famous asap.
i am officially on the bus to dc! today i also decided that, when it comes to american politics, i will not get my head in the game. honestly. i can do my part for causes that i care about (eg. an anti-war protest) but politics here is just too fucked up. politics in america is like literature. but in politics you need a clear answer. the law is the only place in my life where i expect complete reason, complete logic.
